SEND A CHILD TO THE RANCH PROGRAM

The Camarillo Ranch Foundation is committed to making Adolfo’s legacy accessible to all children in the county. Accordingly, the “Send a Child to the Ranch” program awards grants that provide $250 toward round-trip school bus transportation to and from the Camarillo Ranch to Title I schools who would not be able to attend our field trips otherwise.

The Camarillo Ranch Foundation relies on donors to help sustain this very important program. If you would like to support educational programming and sponsor the cost to send school children to the Camarillo Ranch for a School Tour, please consider making a donation here

“We are providing an incredible resource to help children realize the important history and culture within our community,” said Ana Blattel, School Tour Docent and Volunteer Chairperson. “The benefits are obvious just seeing the children’s faces light up with joy and awe as they learn about life on a working ranch in the early 1900’s. It’s an immensely gratifying experience and as volunteers, we know we are making a difference in these children’s lives,” she adds. Consider volunteering with the Camarillo Ranch Foundation and learn more here.
